This policy explains what information Billiam Jeans LLC ("Billiam Jeans," "we," "us") collects when you use billiamjeans.live or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email hello@billiamjeans.live.

Who we are

Billiam Jeans LLC is a small jeans business based in South Carolina. Our store runs on Squarespace.

What we collect

Things you give us:

• Order details: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and what you bought.

• Payment details: you enter these on Squarespace's checkout and they go to its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). We don't see or store your full card number.

• Fitting details: if you book a fitting, we collect your measurements, fit preferences, and the place and time of the appointment. For an in-person fitting, that includes the address where we meet you.

• Email signups: your email address (and name, if you give it) when you join our mailing list or pre-order list.

• Messages: anything you send us by email.

Things collected automatically:

• Device and usage information: when you visit, we and our partners collect information such as pages viewed, links clicked, items added to your cart, purchases, the site that sent you to us, browser and device type, IP address, and approximate location.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from these providers:

• Squarespace: essential cookies that make the site and checkout work (for example, keeping items in your cart), plus Squarespace's built-in analytics to measure traffic.

• Google Analytics: helps us understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are popular and where visitors come from. Google sets its own cookies and processes this information under its own policies. • Meta (Facebook) Pixel: tells us when visitors from our Facebook or Instagram ads view pages or make a purchase. It also lets us measure our ads and show ads to people who visited our site or who resemble our customers. We use this information for analytics (improving the site), measurement (seeing which ads and posts work), and advertising (showing our ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta services).

• To prevent fraud and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their part:

• Squarespace: hosts our website, store, checkout, email campaigns, and built-in analytics. Squarespace's privacy policy: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy

• Payment processors: process payments made at checkout under their own privacy policies.

• Google and Meta: receive device and usage information through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, as described in "Cookies, analytics, and advertising."

• Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx): receive your name and shipping address so they can deliver your order.

• Video call provider: if you choose a video fitting, the call runs on a third-party video service.

• Legal reasons: we may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't sell or rent our customer or email lists. However, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel let Google and Meta collect information about your visits for analytics and advertising. Some state privacy laws may treat this as "selling" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out using the choices listed above, or email us.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, and returns. We keep fit measurements so we can make your next pair, unless you ask us to delete them. We keep your email on our lists until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and requests

• ask what personal information we have about you

• correct it

• delete it, unless we have to keep it for legal or accounting reasons

• unsubscribe from emails

• opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising

We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on a request. We'll reply within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reputable service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Shipping area

We sell and ship within the United States only. Our service providers may store information in the US or other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, we may also let you know by email.
