Terms of Sale and Use

These terms apply when you use billiamjeans.live or buy from Billiam Jeans LLC ("Billiam Jeans," "we," "us"), a South Carolina company. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@billiamjeans.live.

1. Products and prices

• Ready-made jeans: $250 per pair.

• Custom jeans: $750 per pair, made to your measurements.

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping charges and any sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices for future orders, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed.

2. Orders and payment

You place orders and pay through our Squarespace checkout. An order is accepted when we send a confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error. If we cancel, we'll refund anything you paid for it.

3. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. We can't ship to addresses outside the US.

4. Custom jeans

• Custom jeans take about 4–6 weeks to make. That's an estimate, not a guarantee.

• They're built from the measurements and choices you give us or that we take at your fitting, so please check them carefully.

• Custom jeans are final sale. They can't be returned or exchanged.

• If you have a concern about your custom jeans, email hello@billiamjeans.live within 14 days of delivery and describe it (photos help). We review concerns case by case. For legitimate issues, such as a problem with workmanship or jeans that don't match the agreed measurements, we may offer alterations or a remake. We decide the remedy.

5. Returns on ready-made jeans

• You can return ready-made jeans within 14 days of delivery if they're unworn and unwashed.

• To start a return, email hello@billiamjeans.live.

• After 14 days, ready-made jeans are final sale.

• You pay return shipping, and original shipping charges aren't refunded.

• We'll refund the price of approved returns to the original payment method.

6. Fittings

Fittings are by appointment only. We can do them at your location or by video.

• Greenville area: in-person fittings are free.

• Outside the Greenville area: in-person fittings are by arrangement. Email us to discuss them.

• Video fittings: you're responsible for your own device and internet connection.

• Rescheduling and cancelling: please give us at least 24 hours' notice.

For in-person fittings, please give us an accurate address and a safe, suitable place to meet.

7. Pre-order list

Joining the pre-order list is free and no payment is taken up front. Signing up isn't an order or a purchase, and it doesn't reserve a product or lock in a price. We'll email you when items are available to buy.

8. Raw denim: natural variation

Our jeans may be made from raw (unwashed) denim. Raw denim is meant to change with wear, so expect:

• Color and texture differences between bolts, batches, and pairs, and from what you see on screen.

• Indigo transfer (crocking): dye can rub off onto skin, light-colored fabrics, furniture, and car seats, especially when the jeans are new or wet.

• Shrinkage and stretch: the fabric may shrink when washed or soaked and stretch as it's worn.

• Fading and creasing that follows how you wear them.

These are normal features of raw denim, not defects, and they aren't grounds for a return or a custom jeans concern on their own. Follow any care instructions we provide.

9. Trademark and content

BILLIAM® is a federally registered trademark of Billiam Jeans LLC. The Billiam Jeans name and logos are also trademarks of Billiam Jeans LLC. You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to our products accurately. Text, photos, and designs on this site belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.

10. Using the site

Please don't misuse the site. That includes attempting to break its security, scraping it, interfering with how it works, or using it for anything illegal. We may update, change, or take down the site at any time.

11. Disclaimer

Except as stated in these terms or as required by law, the site and our products are provided "as is." We don't make other promises, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Billiam Jeans is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some laws don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction and venue.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
